REPEANT!!!

Running alongside the Stormcast Challenge, Azmodai is also on my desk and the brush is moving really nicely. It’s one of those models that when I initially saw the miniature, I wasn’t feelin it. But given in the hand and being enabled to add my own atmosphere, this is turning into what I felt as a kid seeing this illustration in the Angels of Death Codex back in 2nd edition.

As for what’s to come in the form of tutorials? Well, next week I’ll be continuing my love of soft surfaces and giving you all the process of his dark rough robes. Following the process I’ll also be including the smoke effects which are the two unique aspects of this sculpt. As for the metals and black armour, the Stormcast challenge is already providing a lot of nmm painting information as well as the Black Armour Space Marine tutorial already released is an excellent reference for Azmodai black armour.
