Yesugei References

With the tutorials primarily focusing on the transitions going from Green to White and covering the Orange, the next week's upcoming tutorial will focus on highlighting the green secondary elements and balancing the size and exposure to the back side of the miniature. Make notes on how both highlights of the Key Light (illuminating the Mojave White) and the secondary (illuminating the Green) line up from 1 element to another. As well as spotting the specular max highlights towards their parent sources. These pictures are also done after the miniature has been given a thin coat of AK ultra-matt varnish. I like using a Matt Varnish as a save button after completing a section. This protects it from handling when painting the rest of the elements and acts as a leveller to help give the paint work an evenly smoother finish (surface-wise).
