Palette cleaner
With the Avatar wrapped up, I was in the mood to take a deeper dive and explore the rest of the Kimera paint range with my recent purchase of their expansion set 1. Colours for me are a real key aspect of painting, and I think it's important to use your colour palette to help express yourself in one way or another. And I think the path to becoming better with colour is the active use of them. But when I first bought the initial Kimera paint release several years back, I had a mixed and somewhat a bit frustrating time and that left me to pass on using them. We fast forward to the last few months today, and I've brought them back out with a second attempt just before the Stormcast Challenge.
Getting a much better feel for this paint and how my brushwork wants to work with it. Building a confident base and happily adventuring out with this new Warrior Mouse just with Kimera and Agrax Earthshade. With all this colour work, I'm going to be setting up a video tutorial on my methods of colour mixing, and choices, as well as how I'm working it on my palette. As well as working specifically with Kimera paints and how I adapt it to my painting style.
Alright, that's all from this for this week! I'll probably be back next with the release of the Avatar of Khaine pt.2 tutorial-wise. But other than that, take care and happy painting :)
